Sketch out of my.. hmm.. yeah, previous sketchbook. For a while I was cycling through various variations of vogeldrache. Testing different hand/claw arrangements, different feathering, legs/toes, etc.

This sketch documents the variation that evolved into my official vogeldrache. The claws are much different here, as is the feather crest on its head.

I dunno, I liked it. :x
